Krate AI panel answering a question about the library

An agent that knows your library

The AI panel lives inside Krate, like in your code editor. Ask where something is, what a project contains or which files belong together. The agent uses real tools: it lists your projects, runs searches and reads text files before it answers.

  • Claude API with your key, or Groq and any OpenAI-style endpoint.
  • Web mode embeds Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot so you can sign in with your account instead.
  • Everywhere: in the side panel and in the quick search bar.

Your library as a living graph

Flip to Graph View and Krate lays out projects, tags, folders, files and links as an interactive graph. The full structure of every project is in there, not just the names.

  • Whole library: projects cluster around shared tags, related projects are connected.
  • Single project: folders and files fan out, nicknamed files stand out.
  • Interactive: drag nodes, zoom, hover to highlight, click to open.

Three looks, your accent

White with black accents by default. Click a card and this page switches with it. The app works the same way, plus any accent color you like.

Honest data storage

Everything Krate knows about a project lives inside the project folder itself. Portable, syncable, yours.
